The Commander Rear (Comd/R), 11 Mech Bn – Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Kakra Sasu-Antwi paid a visit to the construction site on Thursday 10 April 2025 to inspect the Unit’s ongoing accommodation project.

Lt Col Sasu-Antwi expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project and urged the contractors to work assiduously in order to ensure the timely completion of the project.

As part of the visit, Lt Col Sasu-Antwi paid a courtesy call on Naaba Thomas Aluman Apasinaba II, and thanked him for the donation, and to the Sherigu Traditional Council and Community, for their generosity, urging that the ensuing synergy between the Unit and the Sherigu community would continue to grow.

In adherence to the local customs and tradition, Lt Col Sasu-Antwi presented a symbolic offering of cola nuts as a mark of goodwill and appreciation to the Chief for his kind gesture, as the visit culminated in a signing of certificate of honour between the Comd/R and the Chief of Sherigu Traditional Council, to cover the land.
