The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, joined distinguished guests from Ghana’Presidency and the Ghana Armed Forces to witness the 42nd Ceremonial Guard-Changing parade at the Jubilee House – the Seat of Government – on Monday, 18 November 2024.
The quarterly ceremony saw the Ghana Army hand over responsibility to the Ghana Navy, emphasizing the importance of alertness, readiness, and maximum security at the seat of government.

President and Commander-in-Chief of GAF – His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Guest of Honour, was accompanied by the Minister of Interior – Mr Henry Quartey, and the Service Chiefs of GAF.
The Guard-Changing ceremony showcased the precision, discipline, and dedication of GAF in ensuring the security and integrity of the seat of government.

Present to observe proceedings were students from one of the Military schools.
