Ghana Military Academy Regular Career Course 35 (RCC 35) and Short Service Commission/Special Duties Course 34 (SSC/SD 34) donated 20 office tables and 20 office chairs to the Golokwati District Education office, at the Afadzato South District of the Volta Region.
The donation worth GHS 30,000, was made on Friday 1 August, 2025, to support the District as part of the Intake’s 30th anniversary celebration.
Representatives of the Intakes, led by Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Eric Konadu, explained that the Intake’s donation was their widows’ mite to the communities that supported them during their time of training as cadets.
He indicated that as cadets, they navigated through the general area to Amedzofe, and the unwavering love shown them by the locals needs to be appreciated, by giving back to such communities that willingly give out their areas for the Military Academy to train on.
The District Director of Education, Afadzato South – Mrs Yvonne Akpene Ame-Bruce expressed her profound gratitude to the generosity of the intake, and stated that the donation would go a long way to help the District, and the Ghana Education Directorate.
