The Special Adviser to the President on the Accra Initiative – Major General (Maj Gen) Adu- Amanfo (Rtd) has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, to congratulate him on his appointment and promotion, and discuss issues pertaining to Operation KOUDANLGOU and the Accra initiative.
Maj Gen Adu-Amanfo was accompanied by the Chief Executive of the Accra Initiative – Mr Ben Dery and the Commander of the Multinational Joint Task Force (MJTF), Operation KOUDANLGOU – Maj Gen Michael Ayisi Amoah, on Thursday 15 February 2024.
The CDS thanked them for the visit and promised to work together to ensure the safety and security of the nation and the sub-region.
