APOTS RECEIVES 50-BED FEMALE SOLDIERS ACCN FROM COAS

Ghana’s Army Commander – Major General (Maj Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah has sustained his elements and provided an 50-bed Female Soldiers accommodation to the Army Peace Operations Training School (APOTS), Battle Training Camp (BTC), Bundase, and christened it the PARBEY BLOCK, after the Commander, Army Training Command – Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Stephen Woseadzikpo Kweku Parbey.

Commissioning the camping facility (which comes to add up to a number of habitable facilities already provided at the Camp), on Tuesday 1 August 2023, General Oppong-Peprah cited Brig Gen Parbey for dedication and hard work to his duties, since assuming command.

The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) further presented four 55” Television sets to four accommodation blocks of APOTS, namely; OPPONG-PEPRAH, ESSIEN, HANSON and PARBEY, whiles the Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics – Maj Gen Joseph Prince Osei-Owusu, presented another 55” Television set and a water dispenser to the OSEI-OWUSU Block.

Present included the Deputy Chief Staff Officer (DCSO), Army Logistics – Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Kenneth Kweku Kwaah Kumi; DCSO, Army Administration – Brig Gen Emmanuel Acheampong Baidoo; DCSO, Army Training – Brig Gen Frank Tei; Commander, Army Training Command – Brig Gen Stephen Parbey; Commander, APOTS – Colonel Clement Dingane; Commanding Officer; UNIFIL GHANBATT 90 – Lt Col Frank Agyeman; Senior Officers, Officers, Regiment Sergeant Major and Soldiers.
