The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Frederick Asare Kwasi Bekoe has received a quantity of sports items from AWARDS CENTRE GH, for use by the Ghana Air Force (GHF) Sports Team, to motivate them continue to excel in their various disciplines.
A retinue from AWARDS CENTRE GH, led by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Mr Percy Amuah (affectionately called Paa Kwesi), presented football jerseys, handball jerseys, volleyball jerseys, basketball jerseys, footballs, basketballs, socks, football hose, bibs for reserves, on Monday 12 February 2024, at the Air Force Headquarters, Burma Camp, Accra.
Mr Amuah, who called for Ghana’s Security Services Sports Association (SESSA) Games to be revived, stated that the donation was a benevolent gesture by his company, to support the activities of various sports teams in the GHF, reiterating the commitment of AWARDS CENTRE GH, to help sports development in the GAF, generally.
The CEO later presented AVM Bekoe a photo frame of a branded jersey, for the CAS’ personal use.
AWARDS CENTRE GH, a subsidiary of Point 5 Company Limited – a registered Supplier with the GAF, has previously presented large quantities of assorted sports kits and equipment, first to the Ghana Army Sports Teams in 2022, and in 2024, has presented various quantities of items to the Ghana Navy and Army, respectively, with anticipation of the revival of the SESSA Games.
Present at the presentation were the Chief Staff Officer, Air Force Headquarters – Air Commodore Eric Yirenkyi, and Staff Officers.
