The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, led a high powered delegation of Ghana’s Military, to pay a commiseration visit to the family of the late Chief Clerk to the CDS – Senior Warrant Officer Class II (SWO II) Buckman Joseph, at his residence at Afienya, in the Greater Accra Region.
The CDS’ visit was on Tuesday 17 December 2024, following the sudden demise of the late SWOII Buckman on Sunday, 15 December 2024.
Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah on behalf of Officers, Soldiers and Defence Civilian Staff, expressed condolence and sympathy to the family for the loss of their beloved father, and promised them of GAF’s support to the family, in giving the late SWO II Buckman a befitting burial, with full military honours.
