CDS GAF INSPECTS NEW ACCN BLOCKS FOR SOLDIERS

As part of his ongoing efforts to improve the welfare of Soldiers, the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, has inspected newly built accommodation blocks for personnel.

On Wednesday 11 December 2024 at Michel Camp, near Tema, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Homeownership Fund Company Limited – Mr Dela Dzandu handed over seven 2-Bedroom unit blocks to the CDS, with some additional units expected to be completed within three months.

The accommodation blocks feature two and three-bedroom units.

The blocks, constructed in partnership with National Home Ownership Fund, are expected to alleviate the long-standing accommodation challenges faced by GAF in 1 Garrison, as a significant step towards enhancing the living conditions and overall well-being of GAF personnel.
