The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, led a high-powered delegation from the General Headquarters to pay a historic visit to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Headquarters in Accra on Wednesday 2 October 2024.
The Commissioner General, GRA – Madam Julie Essiam received the delegation, introduced members of the management and briefed the CDS on the operations of the institution.
She acknowledged the existing partnership between GRA and GAF, particularly in maintaining stability and security at Ghana’s borders, and emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between the two institutions.
Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah stated that his visit to the GRA formed part of his visit to sister security services, and that it was necessary to further explore ways to enhance collaboration between GAF and the GRA.
