The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah has announced that his vision as the CDS is: “To have a highly-motivated, well-trained and well-equipped Armed Forces with quality Officers, Soldiers and Defence Civilian Staff, to perform all assigned tasks”.
General Oppong-Peprah declared his foresight statement during his maiden durbar with All Ranks of 1 and 5 Garrisons, at Burma Hall, Burma Camp, Accra, on Friday, 22 March 2024.
Lt Gen T Oppong-Peprah emphasized that, he will endeavour to offer quality leadership, underpinned by motivation, training and equipping the GAF, and therefore, admonished all to abide by the values of teamwork, discipline and professionalism, to support his Command to advance the cause of Ghana’s military.
