The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Major General (Maj Gen) William Agyapong together with Mr Michael Zormelo – Chief Executive Officer, OMNI GROUP, have donated 200 bags of 25kg rice to Muslims at all commands and garrisons of GAF.
The donation on Sunday 30 March 2025, marked the end of the Ramadan fasting period, and was in consonance with an earlier donation of food items to the Al-Aziz Mosque at Burma Camp, Accra.
This gesture is a demonstration of GAF’s commitment to fostering positive relationships with the Muslim community, and promoting the welfare of troops across Ghana.
