A delegation from the Coalition of La Associations, led by the La-Leshie Divisional Chief – Nii Annang Amanyakwa I, have paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, on Wednesday, 31 July 2024, at the General Headquarters.
Nii Annang Amanyakwa I, mentioned that the purpose of the visit was to congratulate the CDS on his elevation to the highest rank and appointment in the Ghana Armed Forces, to discuss issues of mutual concern, and to deepen the existing relationship between GAF and the people of La.
Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah, in his remarks, thanked the delegation for the visit and called for more cooperation to deepen the bond between both institutions.
