The Army Chief of Staff of the Rwanda Defence Force – Major General (Maj Gen) Vincent Nyakarundi paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) Maj Gen William Agyapong on Wednesday 9 April 2025, at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp, Accra.
The visit aimed to extend an invitation to Maj Gen Agyapong for the upcoming International Defence Seminar in Rwanda, and to officially congratulate the CDS on his appointment to the highest office in GAF.
In his welcome remarks, Maj Gen Agyapong expressed appreciation for the visit, highlighting the existing mutual relationship and the growing ties between Ghana and the Rwandan Armed Forces, which focuses on defence cooperation and regional security.
