A delegation from Ghana’s National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), led by its Director-General – Mr Eric Nana Agyemang-Prempeh, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – General Thomas Oppong-Peprah,.
The visit at the General Headquarters on Monday, 6 January 2025 at the General Headquarters, had Mr Agyemang-Prempeh congratulating General Oppong-Peprah on his historic elevation to a four-star General in the GAF.

Mr Agyemang-Prempeh, who has been elected as Member of Ghana’s 9th Parliament for Ahafo-Ano North Constituency, also expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support the CDS offered as a member of the Governing Council of NADMO, which enhanced his role as Director-General.
He highlighted the significant improvements in discipline and work output within NADMO, attributing those gains to the support of General Oppong-Peprah.

General Oppong-Peprah on his part, congratulated Mr Agyemang-Prempeh on his election, and wished him well in his political journey.
He also commended NADMO for its efforts in promoting disaster risk reduction, strengthening disaster prevention and response mechanisms.
