The Embraer Group of Companies from Brazil paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah at the General Headquarters on Wednesday, 13 March 2024.
The Chargé D’Affairs at the Brazilian High Commission – Her Excellency Louisa Babosa led the delegation, and said the Group aimed to strengthen its cooperation with the GAF in the areas of military hardware, intelligence and surveillance capabilities.
The CDS noted that GAF has a longstanding relationship with Brazil, and welcomed further engagements, emphasizing GAF’s interest in technology transfer, capacity building and better intelligence gathering capabilities.
