FAMILY INFORMS GAF CDS OF LT-GEN BLAY (RTD)’S WIFE’S DEATH

A delegation from the family of former Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Peter Augustine Blay (Rtd), led by Colonel Asabre (Rtd), paid a courtesy call on the CDS, GAF – General (Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, to officially inform him of the passing of Mrs Edna Ama Blay – wife of Lt Gen Blay (Rtd).

Gen Oppong-Peprah welcomed the entourage and offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, on Wednesday, 5 February 2025 at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp, Accra.

He assured the family of GAF’s support during their difficult time and during the final funeral rites slated for 28 March 2025 in Accra.
