The family of the late Chief Fire Officer – Major General (Maj Gen) Joseph Adda (rtd) paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Maj Gen William Agyapong, on Thursday, 17 April 2025, at the General Headquarters, to officially announce his passing.
The Managing Editor of the Catholic Standard – Mr Ben Batabe Assorow, on behalf of the family also used the opportunity to congratulate Maj Gen Agyapong on his appointment as CDS.
Maj Gen Agyapong expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pledged his support to ensure a befitting burial for the late Maj Gen Adda (rtd).
He noted that the late Major General was a key pillar in the Ghana Armed Forces, having held numerous appointments and playing significant roles throughout his career.
