FORCES & SERVICE SERGEANT MAJORS PLEDGE LOYALTY TO CDS

The Forces Sergeant Major (FSM) – Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) Addo Daniel, has led the Sergeant Majors of the Ghana Army, Ghana Navy and the Ghana Air Force, to pledge their loyalty, support and professionalism, to the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah.

On Thursday, 28 March 2024, the FSM, in the company of Master Warrant Officer (MWO) Ansah-Yeboah Isaac – Service Sergeant Major of the Ghana Army; Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPO) Kpormego Quarshie – Master Coxswain of the Ghana Navy (GN); and MWO Bawa Abdulai – Master Air Warrant Officer of the Ghana Air Force (GHF), called on the CDS, to pay homage him.

The leaders also congratulated the CDS on his appointment, and assured him of their total support from their various Services, and also engaged Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah on various issues concerning GAF.

The CDS on his part, expressed appreciation for their loyalty and support, adding that, he would work with all to move the Armed Forces forward, and that he was committed to helping the Sergeant Majors succeed in their various services.

Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah further admonished them to provide quality leadership to troops at their levels, in support of his Command.
