GAF CDS, COAS JOINTLY INSPECT PROJECTS AT BTC, BUNDASE

The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Major General (Maj Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah has jointly inspected ongoing projects at the Battle Training Camp (BTC), Bundase, and 1 Infantry Battalion, Michel Camp, with the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) – Maj Gen Bismarck Kwasi Onwona, and a delegation from the General Headquarters of GAF, and the Ghana Army Headquarters.

At BTC on Tuesday 6 February 2024, the delegation interacted with troops of United Nations Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) United Nations Security Force for Abyei (UNISFA) Ghanaian Battalion 3 (GHANBATT 3), after which they inspected the construction of a 100-bed female accommodation, Officers’ accommodation, and the Army Peace Operations Training School Headquarters projects.

The CDS expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and hoped, project timelines would be met, and went on to assure troops of more projects to be delivered.
