Ghana’s Ministers of Defence, and Finance and Economic Planning – Messrs Dominic Nitiwul, and Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, respectively, together with the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, have inspected newly procured vehicles and progress of work on many new offices and accommodation projects in Burma Camp.
The inspection on Monday, 26 August 2024, covered various facilities, including the Ghana Armed Forces Central Band Complex – which features 192 two-bedroom accommodation for Soldiers, the Base Ordnance Depot (BOD) warehouse, BOD new Headquarters, BOD School and Workshops, with accommodation for Soldiers, located near the military cemetery.

Additionally, the delegation inspected newly acquired military vehicles and equipment.
The Ministers expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and urged contractors to work assiduously, in order to ensure the timely completion of the projects.
