GAF CDS VISITS ARMY COMMANDER

The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Vice Admiral (V/Adm) Seth Amoama has paid an official visit to the Army Headquarters (AHQ), to express his appreciation to the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) – Major General (Maj Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah and his Staff Officers.

The CDS’ said his visit on Wednesday 11 January 2023, is a statement of appreciation of the support and contribution to the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) in the delivery of its mandate to the people of Ghana, by the Ghana Army (GA).

Admiral S Amoama further noted that the steadfast support of the COAS and the GA, was critical to the success of the Military High Command in the year 2022.

The CDS thus urged the GA Staff to continue to work so as to sustain the place of the Army, in particular, and the GAF in general, as the most trusted institution in Ghana.

General T Oppong-Peprah, who received Admiral Amoama, expressed his appreciation for the visit and assured the CDS of the continued support of the Ghana Army.
