The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah has reaffirmed his commitment to resource departments and directorates in the General Headquarters to enable them perform efficiently and effectively in line with his vision.
He made this affirmation when he paid a working visit to some military facilities within Burma Camp and near the General Headquarters on Wednesday, 10 April 2024.
The military installations visited were the Defence Civilian Establishment, Forces Pay Regiment, Defence Motor Transport Battalion, National College for Defence Studies, Signal Training School and the Department of Public Relations (DPR).
During the tour, the CDS met and interacted with the Commanders and Staff at their offices. He also took the opportunity to inspect ongoing construction works and other developmental projects.
Lieutenant General Oppong-Peprah appreciated the efforts of all personnel and commended them for their services to God and country.
At DPR, the CDS donated a complete multi-media set of equipment in fulfillment of his promise to equip the Department to function effectively.
