As part of efforts targetted at improving the welfare, living conditions, boosting morale and enhancing overall quality of life of personnel, the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has constructed and commissioned an 8-unit accommodation block.
The Chief of Staff (COS) at the General Headquarters – Major General (Maj Gen) Joseph Prince Osei-Owusu, on behalf of the Chief of the Defence Staff – Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, inaugurated the building on Friday, 11 October 2024, at Dohazari Lines, Burma Camp, Accra.
The newly built accommodation block comprises 2 bedrooms, a hall, kitchen, washroom, and a balcony in each unit, providing comfortable living quarters for personnel.
Maj Gen Osei-Owusu emphasized the importance of maintenance, urging occupants to keep the facilities in excellent condition for future generations to enjoy.
