GEN ONWONA GIVES OFFICE EQUIPMENT TO FOB, OBUASI

The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Ghana Army – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Bismarck Kwasi Onwona has provided office equipment to personnel deployed at the Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Obuasi.

The items which include 2 sets of television, a desktop computer, a printer, laptop and a projector, presented on Thursday 13 March 2025, are to aid them have a more condusive atmosphere to work.

Presenting the items to the team on behalf of the COAS, the General Officer Commanding, Central Command – Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Michael Kwadwo Opoku indicated that the Military High Command is always ready to ensure that the welfare of personnel reigns supreme, so as to boost the morale of personnel, thereby encouraging them to work hard and carry on with their constitutional mandate.

He advised personnel to be discipine and refrain from unauthorised operations in order not to drag the name of the Ghana Armed Forces into disrepute.

Receiving the items, the Platoon Commander of the team – Lieutenant Isaac Anderson Amakye expressed his appreciation to the COAS and promised that his team will work hard to ensure thay their area of responbility remains calm.

Present at the presentation ceremony were the Command Operations Officer – Colonel (Col) Henry Ansah-Akrofi; Command Logistics Officer, Col John Frempong-Manso – Commanding Officer, 4 Infantry Battalion (4Bn) – Lt Col Sarfo Kantanka Dapaah; Command Sergeant Major – Senior Warrant Officer Class 1 Kalasi Daniel; Regimental Sergeant Major, 4Bn – SWOII Asula Ibrahim amongst others.
