The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, together with the 1981-83 year group of Prempeh College, have donated Medical Equipment worth GHS 60,910.00 to their alma mater.
Presenting the items on behalf of the CDS, on Friday 27 September 2024, at the forecourt of the School, ahead of the school’s 75th anniversary celebration, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Medical, General Headquarters (GHQ), GAF – Major General (Maj Gen) Raymond Ewusi appealed to the Old Boys Associations of the College, to continue to support and give back to the school.

General Ewusi admonished students of the College to be inspired by greatness, and never forget the values that define the school, to build upon the achievements, as he urged the young ones to embrace opportunities and challenges to ensure that the name of Prempeh College is always associated with greatness.
He added that the 75th Anniversary of Prempeh College should inspire all with renewed commitment to excellence, and foster a deeper connection among all alumni to uphold the principle of unity and discipline, and forge ahead for academic excellence, a culture of innovation, creativity and responsible citizens.


The Headmaster of Prempeh College – Reverend Lewis Asare, who received the donation, thanked the CDS and his year group for the kind gesture and said the medical equipment come in handy, as they would assist the school to deal with many medical issues, and therefore, appealed to other Old Students to come to their aid.
Present at the event included the General Officer Commanding, Central Command – Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Michael Kwadwo Opoku; Deputy Commandant, Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College – Brig Gen Albert Kwadwo Dawohoso, some Senior Military Officers and a host of others.
