GEN OPPONG-PEPRAH COMMISERATES WITH KUMASI FIRE VICTIMS

Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah – Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), has visited Soldiers who are victims of the recent fire incident at Uaddara Barracks in Kumasi, to commiserate with them.

He met the victims after attending the 75th anniversary celebrations of his Alma mater, Prempeh College in Kumasi on Saturday, 2 November 2024.

During the meeting, he offered condolences and made cash donations to each of the affected personnel, assuring them of the Military High Command’s support in their difficult times.

The CDS’s visit brought hope to the victims, who expressed gratitude and prayed for continued assistance, to alleviate their suffering and restore them to normalcy.
