GEN OPPONG-PEPRAH VISITS GAF TRAINING INSTITUTIONS

The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah has paid a working visit to the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), and the Ghana Military Academy (GMA), to ascertain operational, administrative and logistics challenges facing the institution, and seek lasting solutions.

Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah on Friday 12, April 2024 first visited TRADOC where he was received and briefed by the Commandant – Rear Admiral (R/Adm) Eric Adu, and later inspected facilities at the Command.

At GMA, the CDS was met by the Acting Commandant – Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Charles Agyemang-Prempeh and his principal Staff Officers, after which he was briefed and toured the Command.

Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah emphasized the need to resource these training institutions – both at Teshie, Accra – to enable them offer quality training to personnel, and to produce quality Officers for the Armed Forces.

He reaffirmed his commitment to producing quality Officers, Soldiers and civilian staff, to undertake the tasks of the Armed Forces.
