The Ghana Navy mounted a Guard of Honour to officially welcome the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces – Major General (Maj Gen) William Agyapong to his office on Tuesday, 25 March 2025 at the General Headquarters.
The ceremony, which marked the beginning of Maj Gen Agyapong’s tenure, featured a prayer session by the clergy, seeking divine guidance and a smooth tenure for the new CDS as well.
The CDS expressed his gratitude to the Military High Command for the honour and thanked the clergy for their prayers.
