The Ghana Boundary Commission (GhBC), in collaboration with the Land Boundary Commission of Togo, has held joint community sensitisation programs, to educate communities living along the International Boundary Line between Ghana and Togo, to understand the mechanics and activities of an impending reaffirmation exercise, to be jointly conducted by the two national boundaries authorities.

The first sensitisation exercise, which took place on Thursday 19 October 2023, is part of Phase 3 of the Joint Land Boundary Reaffirmation Exercise, which was commenced by the two countries on Saturday, 21 October 2023, and will last till Friday, 10 November 2023.

The second sensitization program has subsequently been held for selected border communities along the Ghana/Togo International Boundary Line, on Friday 20 October 2023, at Kame Tonu, in Togo, and Leklebi-Kame, in Ghana; in line with objectives of the African Union Border Programme (AUBP), the GhBC and the Land Boundary Commission of Togo.
