Ghana’s Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment – George Opare Addo (Esq), paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – General (Gen)Thomas Oppong-Peprah to congratulate him on his promotion to the rank of General, and to discuss potential collaboration opportunities.
On Wednesday, 12 February 2025 at the General Headquarters in Burma Camp, Mr Opare Addo (Esq.) emphasized that, his vision was to reorient the minds of the Ghanaian youth to contribute actively to national development.
He outlined various objectives and programs to engage the youth towards national development and sought support from the GAF to achieve these objectives.
General Oppong-Peprah expressed gratitude for the visit and assured the Minister of GAF’s full support in the quest for youth Empowerment, towards national development.
