Cadets of Ghana Military Academy (GMA) Regular Career Course (RCC) 64 paid a familiarization visit to the 66 Artillery Regiment (66 Arty Regt) to be introduced to operations of the Regiment, and be educated on the Artillery prowess of the Ghana Armed Forces.
As part of the visit on Thursday 16 January 2025, the Cadets, led by Lieutenant Colonel Emmanuel Newson – the Course Commander, were taken through lectures on the history, organization, and the role of the Regiment by Captain Nana Benyi Kum, who also enlightened the cadets on the operations, functions and the weapon system.
The cadets were also briefed on the 105mm and 122mm Howitzers, 122mm MRl Mantruck, 107mm and 122mm Multiple Rocket Launch System.
Additionally, there was display of the guns to offer practical insight into equipment usage.
