Ghana Military Academy Regular Career Course 35 (RCC35) and Short Service Commission (SSC)/Special Duties (SD) Course 34 renovated and handed over a fully refurbished kindergarten (KG) block to Dzolokpuita Community in the Ho West District of the Volta Region.
Representatives of the Intakes, led by Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Eric Konadu, on Friday 1 August 2025, at a presentation of the project, stated that the project was part of Civil-Military Cooperation efforts, as well as to commemorate the Intake’s 30th anniversary celebration.
He again explained that the Intake chose Dzolokpuita because it was one of the exercise areas used to train the intake about 30 years ago, and also based on an assessment conducted by the Education Directorate of the Ho West District.
The over GHS 140,000-project, previously in a deplorable state which posed safety hazards for learners, disrupting effective teaching and learning, now has modern classroom furniture, creating a safe and child-friendly learning environment.
The District Director of Education for Ho West – Mrs Paulina Gobe commended the Intake for their kind gesture and called on other institutions and individuals to support the communities with similar interventions.
