The General Officer Commanding (GOC) – Central Command (C/COMD) Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Charles Agyemang-Prempeh has paid a day’s official visit to troops of the Ghana Army deployed at 3 Infantry Battalion (3Bn) Forward Operating Base (FOB) located at Dokorkyina, in the Bui District of the Bono East Region.
The visit on Tuesday 5 September 2023, was to afford him the opportunity to ascertain challenges faced by troops, be it operational or administrative, and how they could be addressed.
Accompanied by the Command Operations Officer (COO) – Colonel (Col) Henry Ansah-Akrofi and Commanding Officer (CO), 3 Infantry Battalion – Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Eric Tenadu, General Agyemang-Prempeh also held a durbar with troops at the FOB, where he urged them to be security conscious, noting the volatile situation in the area, and advised them not to over-fraternize with the locals, in other not to compromise their duties.
