The GOC also paid courtesy calls on the Volta Regional Minister – Dr Archibald Yao Letsa in Ho, the Oti Regional Minister – Mr Joshua Makubu in Dambai, and Nkwanta South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) – Mr Bright Lenwah, in Nkwanta.

The Administrative Heads commended the 66 Arty Regt for efforts in maintaining law and order in the two Regions, indicating that the timely interventions of the military has always helped in preventing conflicts from escalating.

In appealing to the GOC to ensure that troops deployed on internal security operations are not withdrawn, the Oti Regional Minister and Nkwanta South MCE, also requested for Forward Operating Bases (FOB) to be established in their communities, to which the GOC promised to discuss with Higher Command.
