The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Golden Gate Group and Mayfair Mobility, a privately owned logistics and transport company – Dr Frank Tetteh, has presented office appliances to Headquarters (HQ) Southern Command (S /COMD).
The donation on Tuesday 29 July 2025 had appliances such as 2 split air conditioning units, 1 65-inch UHD LED TV, 2 desktop computers, and 2 ceiling fans.
The gift was in response to a request made by the command to the company to help equip the Command Operations Room.
Dr. Tetteh acknowledged the mutual collaboration between his outfit and the Ghana Armed Forces over the years, which has been to the advantage of both institutions, enhancing national development, hence the support.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) S/COMD – Brigadier General Isaac Nicholas Paintsil, expressed gratitude to the CEO and his outfit, for the timely and important gesture made to the Command.
He reiterated the importance of keeping a good rapport between private and public institutions to enhance mutual growth.
GOC presented a plaque to Dr Tetteh as a token of gratitude from the command for the gesture.
