INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL GROUP DELEGATION CONGRATULATES CDS, PLEDGES SUPPORT

A 3-member delegation from the International Hospital Group (IHG), led by the Local Consultant in Ghana – Mr Harry Sintim-Aboagye, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, at the General Headquarters on Friday, 28 February 2025.

The visit aimed to congratulate General Oppong-Peprah on his promotion to a four-star General and to discuss ways to enhance the operational capabilities of the GAF Medical Services.

During the meeting, General Oppong-Peprah emphasized the need for GAF to equip all units and personnel, particularly in northern Ghana, to effectively combat contemporary threats.

He stressed the importance of ensuring that troops are adequately equipped to address emerging security challenges emerging in the sub-region.

Mr Sintim Aboagye, in his remarks, pledged the IHG’s support for the GAF’s kinetic and non-kinetic operations.

He outlined the IHG’s commitment to providing hospitals, medical equipment, and logistics to bolster the GAF’s capabilities.
