The official homage, which took place on Wednesday 21 May 2025, at the Ga Mantse Palace, Kaneshie, saw Lt Col P Adablah exploring avenues of cooperation between 5Bn – whose Area of Operational Responsibility is the Greater and Central Regions – and the Ga Traditional Council.

The Lion-Hene (King of Lions – as every CO of 5Bn is affectionately termed), pledged support to the Ga King, the Ga Traditional Council, and the Ga state, for peace, security, stability and development.

In the CO’s company was his Acting Second-In-Command – Major Muktar Saani; Officers, and the Regimental Sergeant Major, 5Bn – Senior Warrant Officer Class II Kamaldin Amadu.
