MGMT OF GHANA’S CYBER SECURITY AUTHORITY CALLS ON GEN OPPONG-PEPRAH

The Director General of Ghana’s Cyber Security Authority (CSA) – Dr Albert Antwi-Boasiako, together with his management, has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah.

The visit was at the General Headquarters of GAF, Burma Camp on Monday, 15 April 2024, and was aimed at strengthening the existing collaboration between GAF and the CSA.

Dr Antwi-Boasiako and his team congratulated the CDS on his appointment, and stated the CSA’s willingness to cooperate with Ghana’s military in every good way, for the development of the nation.

Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah on his part, commended the Authority for the invaluable role it plays in the cyber space of Ghana, adding that GAF, under his watch will work closely with the CSA, to deepen the existing relationship.

He emphasized that cyber security is an important area for GAF so far as the security and defence of the country was concerned.
