As the search for the missing Tema West Constituency Women’s Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) intensifies, police are contemplating conducting Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) test on an unknown body of a female that was found in Tema.
Madam Paulina Lamisi, the organizer disappeared since Wednesday 12th of June, 2024, and her whereabouts is not known, however, on Thursday 13th of June, 2024, Police in Tema Community 25, found the dead body of a female in a suitcase. Information available to the writer reveals that in the bag the trunk wrapped in a black polythene with the head, neck, both arms and legs removed.
About a fortnight ago, the police managed to contact relatives of reported missing persons for identification, however, the family of the disappeared women’s organizer, who were fully represented for the identification, after examination of the photographs believed the body is not Lamisi’s.
A highly placed source at the Headquarters of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) told this writer that Police, in a bid to get to the bottom of the matter, may have to deploy forensic investigation of the body found in Tema.
The source points to the fact that the perpetrators of that act, much conscious of what they were doing, might have removed the limbs and deposit them elsewhere, either to completely conceal the identity of the body or had gone to use them for cultic rituals, hence the urgent quest for DNA, the source concludes.

A family source who spoke on telephone states that they are prepared to cooperate with the police to unravel the mystery, if resorting to DNA is an option, and that if the Police, being the experts would go the full haul, then they would support them, he said.
An Executive Member of the Tema West Constituency of the party – one Mr Eric Arthur when contacted by the writer said that on Wednesday 5th June, 2024, after a meeting, they saw the women’s organizer off across the Tema Motorway at Adjei-Kojo enroute to Lome, Togo, to undertake her trading business back in Ghana.
He went on that the following day, Thursday 6th June 2024, she did call to announce her safe arrival and that some of the items on her were not available in the francophone capital, so she was continuing to Lagos for the same enterprise.
On Friday 7th June, 2024, Madam Lamisi again called and this time from Lagos, Nigeria, but one could hear at the background of a heated argument with someone.
Mr continued that on Sunday 9th June, 2024, one Frank who happens to be their friend, had a missed call from an unfamiliar number and when he returned it, realized it was Madam Paulina Lamisi. The executive member states that, according to Frank, she reportedly conveyed a message of threat from a source to him.
Mr Arthur continued that on Monday 10th June, 2024, Madam Lamisi called and wished him a happy birthday and suggested that the celebration should be deferred to the Friday.
The following day, Tuesday 11th June, 2024, she called another friend, one Fortune, whose birthday fell on that day, wished her well, and repeated the earlier suggestion to defer the celebration.

In the afternoon of the same day, at about 1400hours, Lamisi reportedly called the Tema Community 2 Mangoase Number Two Branch Secretary, one Amina Alhassan to hold themselves in readiness for the pending birthday celebration on the Friday.
He went on that Amina states that from her speech, she presupposed that Lamisi not well, and when she enquired, Lamisi only promised to inform her of all that transpired.
On Wednesday 12th June 2024, after mid-day when there was no sign of her for a pending meeting, attempts to reach out to her ended in futility, he concludes.
