The Chief of the Defence Staff of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah has stated that his Command strategy is to lead by example, underlined by the values of teamwork, and the audacity to solving everyday challenges of GAF, with innovation.
The CDS made the declaration when he interacted with members of the 1981-83 Alumni Association of Prempeh College, the Global Amanfour Association, and the Accra Branch of the association, who happen to be his year mates, when they paid a courtesy call on him at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp, Accra, on Thursday 8 February 2024.
The leader of the Amanfour delegation – Mr Asamoah Addo said the purpose of their visit was to congratulate Lt Gen Thomas Oppong-Peprah on his appointment to the highest office of GAF, as CDS and assured him of the support of his alumni association.
The association presented the CDS with a citation and artwork, and in return, Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah presented them with a plaque.
