The Paramount Queenmother of Dormaa Traditional Area – Odeneho Dr Akosua Fimah Dwabeng II has led a high-powered delegation from Dormaa Ahenkro, to congratulate the Chief of the Defense Staff, (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah on his elevation to the highest rank and appointment to the highest office in Ghana’s military.
On Thursday, 25 July 2024 at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp, Accra, Odeneho Dr Akosua Fimah-Dwabeng II expressed her delight and enthusiasm for the appointment, noting that it was a proud moment for the people of Dormaa Ahenkro, where the CDS hails from.
She also pledged her support and that of the people of Dormaa Traditional Area to the CDS, and offered prayers for guidance and wisdom for the latter in his new role.
Lt Gen T Oppong-Peprah, in his remarks, was appreciative of the Queenmother’s gesture and assured her of his commitment to serving the nation with dedication and integrity.
