RAFIMEX SUPPORTS GHANA ARMED FORCES IN ‘OPERATION COVID SAFETY’

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rafimex General Trading Company & Fareware – Mr Haissam El-Dowl, has on Monday 6 April 2020, donated 8,000 pieces of Lucozade consumable drinks to the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp, to support the troops conducting OPERATION COVID SAFETY.

Mr Haissam, in his presentation said GAF needs the help of all Ghanaians and corporate bodies, in times like these, to boost their morale, as part of measures to support GAF and other security agencies, in enforcing the directives to curb the further spread of COVID-19.

The Chief of Staff at the General Headquarters – Rear Admiral (R/Adm) Issah Adam Yakubu, received the items on behalf of GAF and expressed appreciation to Rafimex, for the kind gesture to troops deployed at the frontline.

R/Adm Issah Adam Yakubu urged other corporate bodies, to emulate this support to enhance the capability to enforce directives in order to fight the pandemic.

Rafimex is a subsidiary of Lucozade consumable drinks and the official distributor of Lucozade in Ghana, whereas Fareware is the company’s supermarket, located at La in Accra.[vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”3675″]
