Retired Commissioned Officers Club (RCOC) held its 17th Thanksgiving Service at the RCOC club house to thank God for his mercies and sustenance, and to swear-in new executives of the Club.
On Sunday, 11 February 2024, the Guest of Honour for the occasion, and the Deputy Minister for Defence, and Member of Parliament for Atwima-Kwanwoma – Mr Kofi Amankwa-Manu, called for enhanced efforts to ensure Ghana’s safety and security at the borders and in the entire country, as a whole.
He also took the opportunity to congratulate the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah, who was present at the event, on his promotion and appointment to the highest office in the Armed Forces, and asked all to support him to do his work effectively and efficiently.
