The Republic Of Korea Battalion Commander of United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) – Colonel (Col) Wan Seok Seo, has paid a working visit to the Ghanaian Battalion (GHANBATT) Headquarters UNP 5-66.
The aim of the visit on Thursday 15 February 2024, was to familiarize himself with the operational activities of the GHANBATT, and thus was briefed by the Commanding Officer (CO) UNIFIL GHANBATT 90 – Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Frank Kwesi Agyeman, on the duties and responsibilities of the GHANBATT.
Col Seo expressed appreciation with the operational assessment of GHANBATT 90 along the Blue-Line, and the mandate of UNIFIL, as he toured the various positions of the Battalion, and inspected properties of the effect of the conflict between Lebanon and Israel along the line.
