Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of OJEYZ SECURITY MANAGEMENT LIMITED – Captain (Capt) Haruna Adamu (Rtd), has presented a 30 Kilo Volts Amperes (KVA) PERKINS electricity generator set worth GHS140,000 to a Ghana Army Formation – Southern Command (S/COMD), Headquarters (HQ).
The intent of the donation, made on Wednesday 29 November, 2023, at the HQ of the formation, Kpeshie, Teshie, is to help the command keep a standby generator to provide electricity power to the Unit, should the national grid go off.
Capt Adamu (Rtd) – a retired United States Army Officer, paid a visit to the General Officer Commanding (GOC), S/COMD – Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Samuel Yeboah Asare, at his offices on Wednesday 29 November, and met a power outage situation, and instantly decided to procure a generator set, which he fulfilled on the same day.
He indicated that as an ex-service man, he felt it an honour to support the progress of the Command and the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), as part of his civic duty.
Brig Gen SY Asare, who was appreciative of Capt Adamu’s (Rtd) kind gesture, described it as timely, and assured him that the equipment would be put to effective use.
