The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Major General (Maj Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah has commissioned a 100-seater lecture hall, constructed by the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Ghana Battalion 90 (GHANBATT 90), within 7-weeks of their Pre-Deployment Training, at the Battle Training Camp (BTC), Bundase.

Inaugurating the facility on Tuesday 1 August 2023, General Oppong-Peprah referred to the building as outstanding and would serve a great purpose in complementing efforts at making the Army Peace Operations Training School, even more prominent.
Commending the Commanding Officer (CO) UNIFIL-GHANBATT 90 – Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Frank Kwesi Agyeman for his initiative in the construction, the Army Commander expressed excitement in the spate of his Commanding Officers taking the initiative to help the Military High Command provide for all personnel of GAF.
Friends of the Armed Forces, WAN HENG Company Limited, producers of SOL Cement, donated 400 bags of cement, whiles Zion Electricals Limited, led by Mr Ebenezer Amanor Dautey, provided for all the electrical needs of the structure, whiles labour and supervision were provided by personnel of UNIFIL GHANBATT 90.

Present included the Deputy Chief of Staff, Logistics, GAF – Maj Gen Joseph Prince Osei-Owusu; Deputy Chief Staff Officer (DCSO), Army Logistics – Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Kenneth Kweku Kwaah Kumi; DCSO, Army Administration – Brig Gen Emmanuel Acheampong Baidoo; DCSO, Army Training – Brig Gen Frank Tei, Commander, Army Training Command – Brig Gen Stephen Parbey, Commander, APOTS – Colonel Clement Dingane, Senior Officers, Officers, Regiment Sergeant Major and Soldiers.
