The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Ghana Battalion (GHANBATT) 11, together with the Mongolian Battalion (MONBATT) held a colourful Parade Ceremony at the UNMISS GHANBATT Headquarters on Saturday 11 November 2023.
The parade was held in commemoration of all fallen heroes and heroines who lost their lives during the world wars and other conflicts around the world.
The parade took the form of flag hoisting and laying of wreaths amongst other formalities.
Present at the ceremony were the Acting Head of Field Office, Madam Jane Kony, Commanding Officer MONBATT, Colonel Olumbayid and the Chief of Staff Lieutenant Colonel Praphat Singh Rana and various Staff Officers from the Sector Headquarters.
