UNMISS GHANBATT 11 DONATES TO CATHOLIC ORPHANAGE

The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Ghanaian Battalion 11 (GHANBATT 11), led by its Commanding Officer (CO) – Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Dominic Ampomah, who doubles as the CO for Ghana Army’s 1 Infantry Battalion (1Bn), has made a donation to the Don Bosco Children Village.

The donation which was made on Saturday, 2 September 2023, was prior to the departure of UNMISS/GHANBATT 11 to the UN theatre, to relieve UNMISS/GHANBATT 10, and is expected to invoke the blessing, goodwill, spiritual protection and successful tour of duty in the strife-torn country.

Key Appointment Holders of UNMISS GHANBATT 11, accompanied their CO who made the presentation of assorted items and a cash donation, which was gladly received by caretakers of the charity organization.
