UPSA LEADERSHIP PAYS COURTESY CALL ON CDS GAF

A high-powered delegation from the University of Professional Studies Accra, (UPSA) led by the Vice Chancellor and an Aluminus of Prempeh College, Professor (Prof) Abednego Amartey paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General  (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah.

The meeting on Tuesday, 24 September 2024, at the General Headquarters, aimed to discuss the renewal of the existing Memorandum of Understanding between UPSA and the GAF, and also to congratulate Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah on his promotion and appointment.

Prof Amartey praised GAF for the seamless collaboration between the two institutions and advocated for more joint efforts in developing courses tailored to the needs of GAF personnel.

 Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah expressed gratitude for the visit and reaffirmed GAF’s commitment to collaborating with UPSA to expand the knowledge acquisition scope, particularly in light of evolving global security and intelligence dynamics.
