US DEFENCE ATTACHE TO GHANA CONGRATULATES GEN OPPONG-PEPRAH

The United States of America ((USA) Defence Attaché (DA) to Ghana – Lieutenant Colonel Brian Gilbert led a delegation from the Embassy in Accra, to congratulate the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, on his historic elevation to a four-star General in GAF.

The visit at the General Headquarters on Thursday, 16 January 2025, aimed to strengthen the collaboration between the two countries, fostering a deeper partnership in defence and security matters.

General Oppong-Peprah on his part thanked the entourage for the visit, underscoring the importance of bilateral coperation between the US and Ghana.
